Erlyn Gosse "Buke" Legge

Erlyn Gosse "Buke" Legge – 93, of Blomidon, passed away peacefully on Thursday, February 15, 2018 in the Windsor Elms Village, Falmouth. Born in Blomidon, where he resided for 90 years, he was a son of the late Kenneth and Minnie (Barkhouse) Legge. Buke moved to the Windsor Elms Village in 2016 where he spent the remainder of his life. We would like to sincerely thank all of the staff of Fundyview House I for their kindness, great care and the family spirit they provided to him during this time. It was exceptional and we are so very appreciative.  Buke loved the outdoors and as the sign on his door stated, "I’d rather be fishin". Hunting was also a great passion and many stories were shared with staff and family regarding these events. He also loved to play crib with Barry, they spent many hours passing the time playing cards, while he enjoyed his drink of scotch. He was the last surviving member of his immediate family. He is survived by five children, six grandchildren, two great grandchildren. He was predeceased by his wife, Theresa (Currie); sisters, Nora, Leota, Velma and Rolene; brothers, Sheldon, Russell and Ira. Cremation has taken place and there will be no visitation by request. A private family graveside service will be held at a later date in the Houston’s Beach Cemetery. Donations in memory may be made to Windsor Elms Village or to a charity of your choice. Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to the White Family Funeral Home and Cremation Services, Kentville.
