Sharon Lynn Troop – 73, of Lake George, Kings County. It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of our loved one. Born in Murphy Cove, she was the daughter of the late Charles and Naomi Van Buskirk. She is survived by her husband, Steve; sons, Kim, Troy (Tracey), Todd, Kyle (Sarah); grandchildren, Regan, Jordan, Dylan, Miles, Oliver, Brandon, Ally, Colby, Ivy and Jasper; brothers, Blaine (Betty), Andy (Marilee); sisters, Diane and Beverly (Gary); many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by brothers, Blair and Forrest; sisters, Nova and Trudy. Cremation has taken place. There will be no visitation, by request. The funeral service will be held at 2:00 p.m. Wednesday, February 28, 2018 at Christ Church, Berwick officiated by The Rev'd Mel Malton. A Celebration of Life will be held at Christ Church Hall, Berwick on her birthday Tuesday, August 14, 2018. All are welcome to attend. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Christ Church, Berwick. Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to the White Family Funeral Home and Cremation Services, Kentville.
