Jarvis Joseph Darville

Jarvis Joseph Darville – 81, of North Kingston, passed away Saturday, March 3, 2018 in Grand View Manor, Berwick. Born on Long Island, Bahamas, he was a son of the late George and Cora (Darville) Darville. He was a professional photographer and was known as "Jarvis of Halifax". Jarvis had his Canadian Masters of Photographic Arts Degree and became a member (by invitation only) of the American Society of Professional Photographers. Jarvis was a member of Jehovah’s Witnesses for the past 70 years and his true passion was teaching Bible Truths. He is survived by his wife, Susan (Peters); a son, George III (Christie), Toronto; children from his first marriage, Andre and Charlene; grandchildren and great grandchildren. He was predeceased by a son, Eugene "Darcy". Cremation has taken place. There will be no visitation, by request. A memorial service will be held at 2:00 p.m. Saturday, March 10, 2018 in the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witnesses, Kingston, Mr. Bill Bell officiating. Donations in memory may be made to the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witnesses, Kingston. Arrangements have been entrusted to the White Family Funeral Home and Cremation Services, Kentville.
