Kristopher Mark Keddy

1973-2018

Kristopher Mark Keddy

Kristopher Mark Keddy, the beloved husband of Loreen Keddy and treasured and dedicated father to his daughters Mila (7) and Sasha (4) passed away suddenly on Tuesday April 17, 2018. Born on August 24, 1973 in the Annapolis Valley, Kris was the youngest of 6 children born to Keith and Darlene (McBay) Keddy.  Kris always had a passion to do more, even in his youth. At the early age of 12, he managed a strawberry u-pick farm so he could buy his first stereo. During his post secondary years, he milked cows to put himself through school. After graduating from Acadia University in 1996 with a Bachelor of Business Administration degree he began his career in the industry of his childhood; the agriculture industry.  His successful career took him to Outlook Saskatchewan, Lethbridge Alberta, and Halifax, Nova Scotia.  Kris returned home to the Annapolis Valley in 2011 where he turned his talents to financial security planning and joined Harvest Wealth Management in 2013. Kris and Loreen met and married in Halifax, Nova Scotia in 2007.  They enjoyed playing golf together and having interesting purposeful life discussions. Kris was an extraordinary family man whose life revolved around his wife and two precious girls. He loved to play board games with them and made them special shaped pancakes every week. He had a wonderful love affair with the Prairie Farm Report, enjoyed How It’s Made and had a keen interest in the documentary channel. He was a wealth of knowledge especially in sports and news. He regularly played cards with a small group of friends whom he always entertained with his antics. A visitation honouring and celebrating the life of Kris Keddy will be held from 2-4 p.m. with sharing of memories to begin at 2:00 p.m. on Sunday, April 22, 2018 in the White Family Funeral Home, Kentville.
