Randy James Power – 55, of Aldersville, Kings County, passed away Friday, May 4, 2018 in the Valley Regional Hospital, Kentville. Born in Kentville and raised in New Ross, he was a son of Kathleen (Walker) Power, Aldersville and the late James Power. He had been employed as a truck driver in the mines in British Columbia and worked in towing and roofing in Ontario until retiring due to ill health. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, vintage motorcycles and old cars. In addition to his mother, he is survived by his fiancée, Grace Parker; son, Jetney; grandson, Ethan; stepchildren, Raylene and Cameron; brothers, Lonnie (Cindy) and Darren; sisters, Connie (Russ), Wanda (Loran), Hope (Andy), Valerie (Ronnie), Joy (George) and Pam; nieces and nephews, Tammy, Michelle, Angela, Amanda, Larry, Jimmy, Angie, Tony, Carson, Lisa, Devin, Shawna, Mindy, Randy, Chrissy, Brandi, Kevin and Dawson; many great nieces and nephews, a large extended family and many friends. In addition to his father, he was predeceased by a brother, Larry. Cremation has taken place. Visitation will be held from 6-8 p.m. Thursday, May 10, 2018 in the White Family Funeral Home, Kentville, where the funeral service, followed by a reception, will be held at 1:00 p.m. Friday, May 11, 2018. Burial will take place in the Elm Grove Cemetery, Steam Mill, Kings County. Family flowers only, by request. Donations in memory may be made to a charity of your choice.
