Clayton Elliott Lantz

Clayton Elliott Lantz – 88, of Lake Ramsay, Lunenburg County, passed away Friday, July 6, 2018 in the South Shore Regional Hospital, Bridgewater. Born in Lake Ramsay, he was a son of the late Harry and Eliza (Wentzell) Lantz. He was an auto mechanic with Mahone Auto Service for 32 years, from where he retired. He enjoyed playing guitar and family functions. He spent many hours in the woods and liked playing a good game of cards. After retirement, he was well-known for his wood working. He is survived by his wife of 55 years, Lulu (Olmstead); a son, Dennis (Danette), Greenwood Square; a daughter, Carla (Virgil), New Ross; a sister, Mary Lantz, Berwick; grandchildren, Brendan (Shannon), Ashley (Brian), Trista (Adam), Evan (Bianca); step-grandson, Brandan; great grandchildren, Braedyn, Alisyn, Charleigh, Evelyn, Nevaeh, Aliana, Hailey, Hudson, Farrah and Abel. He was predeceased by a brother, Earle; a sister, Betty. Cremation has taken place and there will be no visitation by request. A graveside service will be held at 2:00 p.m. Wednesday, July 11, 2018 in the New Ross Baptist Cemetery, Reverend Rick Small officiating. A reception will follow in the Royal Canadian Legion, New Ross. Donations in memory may be made to the New Ross Volunteer Fire Department or the Northwest United Baptist Church. Arrangements are entrusted to the White Family Funeral Home and Cremation Services, Kentville.
