Helen Pearl (Thorpe) Little

Helen Pearl (Thorpe) Little of Scott’s Bay, Nova Scotia, passed peacefully into the arms of her Savior on September 16, 2018 in her 96th year at her residence in Didsbury, Alberta, long term care hospital wing. Born on November 24, 1922 in Canning, Nova Scotia, Helen was predeceased by her loving parents, Joseph Henry Thorpe, Catherine Elizabeth Jones and older brother, Alex Thorpe, in 2007. She is survived by younger sister, June Gast of Toronto.  Left to mourn their loving mother are three devoted sons, Eric (Darlene), Arrowwood, Alberta; Ralph, Acme, Alberta and David, Scott’s Bay, Nova Scotia. Helen’s posterity also includes 14 grandchildren and 52 great grandchildren (and counting!). Funeral service to be held at 11:00 a.m. on Tuesday, September 25, 2018 in Union Church of Scott’s Bay. Burial will take place in Scott’s Bay Cemetery. Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to the White Family Funeral Home and Cremation Services, Kentville.
