Valerie Jean Hake

Valerie Jean Hake - age 64, of Kentville, passed away on Tuesday, November 6, 2018, in the Valley Regional Hospital, Kentville. Born in Kentville, she was a daughter of the late Ernest and Bessie (Maloney) Veinott. Valerie was employed in the tobacco industry for a number of years in Ontario before returning to Nova Scotia and settling in Kentville. She is survived by her husband, Gary; sisters, Margaret (Randy) Sherman, Black River; Tammy Veinott (Rob Hicks), Kentville; brother, Ernie Jr., Kentville; sister-in-law, Linda (Cliff), Ontario; nieces and nephews. Cremation has taken place. There will be no visitation or funeral service, by request. Donations in memory may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society. Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to the White Family Funeral Home and Cremation Services, Kentville.
