Margaret Ruth Maston

Margaret Ruth (Wallace) (Power) (Graves) Maston - age 92, passed away in hospital in Cranbrook, British Columbia, on December 19, 2018, within 20 minutes of the same date, her daughter, Rose Wagner, passed away in 2016. Born in 1926, she was the daughter of the late William Wallace and Amy (Chase) Wallace. She is survived by sons, Fred (Christina) Graves, Northern Canada; Doug (Millie) Graves, Missanabie, Ontario; John (Jennifer) Graves, Lacombe, Alberta; daughters, Linda (Art) Dempsey, Cambridge; Dorothy Warn, Prince George, British Columbia and Donna Lyons, Ripples, New Brunswick; many grandchildren and great-grandchildren; sister, Gladys (Wayne) Archer, Lethbridge, Alberta; several nieces and nephews. Besides her parents, she was  predeceased by her daughter, Rose (Power) (Dort) Wagner; grandson, Shawn Lyons; three sons, James, David and Willie Graves; husbands, Truman James Graves and Kenneth Maston; brothers, James, Keith, Bill, Paul and Frank; sisters, Violet, Thelma and Amy. Cremation has taken place. There will be no visitation, by request. A funeral service, followed by reception, will be held at 2:00 p.m., Saturday, January 19, 2019 in the White Family Funeral Home, Kentville, Reverend Darryl Dykens officiating.  Burial will take place in the Elm Grove Cemetery, Steam Mill, Kings County. The family wishes to express their sincere appreciation to son-in-law, Bill Wagner, for caring for Margaret throughout the years. Donations in memory may be made to a charity of your choice. Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to the White Family Funeral Home and Cremation Services, Kentville.
