Larry Ronald Crouse

Larry Ronald Crouse – 64, of Kentville, passed away, surrounded by his loving family, Friday, March 15, 2019 in the QEII Health Sciences Centre – New Halifax Infirmary Site, Halifax. Born in Berwick, he was a son of Mary (Corbett) Sawler, North Alton. He was employed for many years as a truck driver with Armour Transport. He was an avid sports fan and a loyal supporter of the Calgary Flames and the Toronto Blue Jays. In addition to his mother, he is survived by five sisters, Barbara Kingsley (William), Linda Leonard, Margaret Hiltz (Barry), Karen Crouse and Janet Hiltz (Peter); two step brothers, David Sawler and Kenneth Sawler; a step sister, Mary McKinnon; many nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by a sister, Betty Crouse; his grandmother, Effie Corbett; his adopted father, Melbourne Crouse; several aunts and uncles. Cremation has taken place. There will be no visitation, by request. The funeral service, followed by a reception, will be held at 2:00 p.m. Thursday, March 21, 2019 in the White Family Funeral Home, Kentville, Reverend Virginia DeAdder officiating. Burial will take place in the Elm Grove Cemetery, Steam Mill. Donations in memory may be made to the Children’s Wish Foundation or the North Alton Baptist Church. Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to the White Family Funeral Home and Cremation Services, Kentville, Nova Scotia.
