Sheila Rose Johnstone

Sheila Rose Johnstone - age 57, of Lakeville, passed away on Monday, April 8, 2019, at home. Born in Kentville, she was a daughter of the late Roy Collins and Edith (Salsman) Daurie. Sheila had a great love for the outdoors, and could often be found gardening or going for walks, especially on the beach. She was an adoring grandmother who enjoyed spending time with her granddaughter, Emily. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, sister and friend who will be greatly missed by all those who knew her. She is survived by her husband, Michael Dominey; son, Ronald (Natalie) Johnstone; granddaughter, Emily Johnstone; sister, Tammy Daurie; brother, Todd (Lisa) Collins; nieces and nephews. Besides her parents, she was predeceased by a sister in infancy. Cremation has taken place.  There will be no visitation, by request. A graveside service will take place at 2:00 p.m. on Wednesday, April 17, 2019 in the Lakeview Cemetery, Lakeville, Pastor Christina Bigelow officiating. Donations in memory may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society, Diabetes Canada (NS), The Lodge That Gives, VON Annapolis Valley or the Annapolis Valley Palliative Care Program. Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to the White Family Funeral Home and Cremation Services, Kentville.
