Raymond Lawrence Pickrell

Raymond Lawrence Pickrell - age 77, of Kentville, passed away on Thursday, July 18, 2019, at home. Born in Hamilton, ON, he was a son of the late Cyril and Cora (Sipes) Pickrell. He had been employed for 40 years as an electrician with Stelco, in Hamilton, from where he retired. He is survived by his wife of 56 years, Gail (Patrick) Pickrell; two daughters, Linda Pickrell, Hamilton; Sandra "Sandy" Pickrell (Rick Mahar), Cambridge, Kings County; a son, David, Hamilton; two granddaughters, Courtenay Keddy and Brittany Keddy. He was predeceased by an infant sister, Shirley; two brothers, David and Ernie. Visitation will be held from 6-8 p.m. Monday, July 22, 2019 in the White Family Funeral Home, Kentville. The funeral service, followed by a reception, will be held at 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, July 23, 2019 in the New Minas Baptist Church, Reverend Daniel Cormier officiating. Burial will take place in Oakridge Memorial Gardens, Middle Sackville. Donations in memory may be made to the New Minas Baptist Church or the Alzheimer Society. Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to the White Family Funeral Home and Cremation Services, Kentville.
