Shirley Elizabeth O'Hara

Shirley Elizabeth O’Hara, 78, of Glenmont, passed away on Sunday, October 20, 2019 at home.  Born in Kentville, she was a daughter of the late Alfred and Beatrice (Coffill) MacBride. Shirley was a loving wife and mother who devoted her life to her family. She is survived by her daughters, Leah (Kerwin) Arnold, Shirlene Fisher (Tim), Maureen O’Hara,  Beverly O’Hara, Corinne O’Hara, Lana O’Hara (John) and Audrey O’Hara; sons, Patrick and Neal (Wendy) O’Hara; grandchildren, Jevon, Kirby, Rena, Tina, Morgan, Skyler, Jade, Cole, Colton, Brooke, Meghan, Jonah and Eden; 13 great grandchildren; sisters, Josephine Power, Helen Phillips and Freda Sangster, nieces and nephews. Besides her parents, she was predeceased by her husband, Leo; a sister, Madeline Blois; brothers, William and Andrew MacBride; son-in-law, Gary Spicer. Cremation has taken place. There will be no visitation or funeral service, by request. A private family service will take place at a later date. Donations in memory may be made to a charity of your choice. Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to the White Family Funeral Home and Cremation Services, Kentville.
