Mr. Ralph Gough

Ralph Gough … 89, of Cambridge, Kings County, passed away Thursday, September 10, 2009 in the Valley Regional Hospital, Kentville. He was a son of the late Ralph and Mildred Gough. It is with great sorrow that we announce Ralph’s passing. He was a great man and human being. He lived his life with great integrity and spirit. A very humble man, he was a wonderful husband, father and grandfather. Ralph was a life-time member of the Cambridge United Baptist Church, serving as Trustee, long-time Deacon and was especially fond of being a member of the choir. He had a great love of gardening. He was a long-time employee of T.P. Calkin Limited, Kentville. He leaves to mourn, his wife of 68 years, Ruth (nee Arenburg), Cambridge; only son, Gary (Kathy), Berwick; only daughter, Shirley Zinck, Cambridge; five grandchildren, Jason Gough (Chantale), Moncton; Matthew Gough, Berwick; Jillian Gough (Mark Norton), Kentville; Joshua Gough (Shaina Ryan), Kentville; Lisa Zinck, New Minas; two great grandchildren, Nichelle Zinck, Hantsport and Arianna Duval-Gough, Moncton. His third great grandchild, Noah will be born in November. In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by a sister, Bessie Henderson. Cremation has taken place under the direction of the White Family Funeral Home and Cremation Services, Kentville. There will be no visitation or funeral service, by request. A family burial will take place at a later date. Donations in memory may be made to the Cambridge United Baptist Church. Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to the White Family Funeral Home and Cremation Services, Kentville.
