We are very sorry for your loss. Just a little story for you. As you may or may not know I (Nancy) work at Shannex. On the morning of the day that Charlie passed I was in doing some care on him. I looked at him and said Hey Charlie, Tell me a joke. He looked at me and said that he didn't know. I said your supposed to tell me your looking at a joke. He laughed. I guess I am trying to say that he still had his since of humer right to the end. L'Acadie Lane will not be the same without Charlie there. He will be greatly missed. He was well loved by all around him.
— Dave and Nancy Farndale
Please accept my condolences on your loss.
I found comfort in the hope the Bible offers for our loved ones at Psalms 37:29 which says, "The righteous themselves will possess the earth, and they will reside forever upon it."
We are assured by God in His Word the Bible, that after the earth is cleansed of current troubled conditions, it will be restored to a paradise like the Garden of Eden as He originally purposed.
Then our loved ones will return to life on earth in good health. (Isaiah 33:24)
John 5:28,29 tells us that "The hour is coming in which all those in the memorial tombs will hear his voice and come out..."
In the 'Lord's Prayer' that most of us pray, we ask for God's KIngdom to come and His will to be done on earth as it is in heaven.
Then there will be no more sorrow or pain as we are promised at Revelation 21:4. It reads, "He will wipe out every tear from their eyes and death will be no more, neither will mourning nor outcry nor pain be anymore. The former things have passed away."
I hope these words will bring you a measure of solace in your time of loss.
Sincerely,
Sandra Sullivan
