Beverly Mildred Zwicker

Beverly Mildred (Vaughan) Zwicker - 70, of Lockhartville, Kings County, passed away peacefully with her family by her side on Thursday, May 17, 2012 at home.  Born in Kentville, she was the daughter of the late Vernon and Jennie (Parsons) Vaughan. She had been employed with the London Raceway, County Fair Restaurant and ABS in New Minas. She enjoyed going for drives with her husband, gardening, cooking and doing jigsaw puzzles on the computer. She was a loving wife, mother, homemaker, friend and especially enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren. She is survived by her husband of 48 years, Errol; two sons, Michael (Jennifer) and Errol Jr. (Glendette), both of New Minas; two sisters, Marilyn (Kenny) Coleman and Sharon Thorpe (Garth Croft), both of New Minas; eight brothers, Avery (Margaret) and Larry (Joanne), both of Greenwich; Bob (Grace), Hall’s Harbour; Wayne, New Minas; Randy (Deborah), Kitchener, Ontario; Terry (Pat), Black Rock; Ricky (Tina), New Minas; Bruce (Kerri), Kentville; two sisters-in-law, Carolyn, Greenwich; Marion, English Mountain; six grandchildren, Mikey, Danielle, Jayden, Brandon, Kaitlyn and Morghan; several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by a sister, Vivian (and her husband, Raymond Morin); two brothers, Cyril and Shirley "Buck". Cremation has taken place under the direction of the White Family Funeral Home and Cremation Services, Kentville. There will be no visitation or funeral service, by request. A memorial reception will be held Sunday May 27, 2012 from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m. in the Greenwich Community Centre. Donations in memory may be made to the Valley Regional Hospital - Carey Me or the Annapolis Valley Victorian Order of Nurses.
