Evelyn was my famlies neighbour and she had many childhood stories to share with me.i worked at the Cape Breton Post and every three months Evelyn would phone me to get her payment. How I looked forwarded to than time the tea was on the the biscuits were hot.My Mother died very young so we did not know many stories. After our visit I would call my siblings to share the new stories.
I hope she and Ma are sharing stories today.

Carole and Merle,
I just wanted to take a moment to contact you both regarding the loss of your Mom. Whenever I think of Evelyn I can see her beautiful smile, and slightly tilted head. She was one of the very few who NEVER got Marie and I mixed up (a true accomplishment). She was a wonderfully warm woman who was truly interested in what others had to say. It's not often, as a child, that you feel like the adults are really listening to you...when Evelyn asked you a question, she really listened to the answer and always had a comment. She had a way of making you feel important. Know that she will be missed, even by those of us who were not in regular contact. It was a pleasure to have known her.
Take Care,
Bernadette (Bisson) Taylor

Please accept my condolences on your loss.
I found comfort in the hope the Bible offers for our loved ones at Psalms 37:29 which says, "The righteous themselves will possess the earth, and they will reside forever upon it."
We are assured by God in His Word the Bible, that after the earth is cleansed of current troubled conditions, it will be restored to a paradise like the Garden of Eden as He originally purposed.
Then our loved ones can return to life on earth in good health. (Isaiah 33:24)
Then there will be no more sorrow or pain as we are promised at Revelation 21:4. It reads, "He will wipe out every tear from their eyes and death will be no more, neither will mourning nor outcry nor pain be anymore. The former things have passed away."
I hope these words will bring you a measure of solace in your time of loss.
