Mab will miss his roomate and we will miss our special friend. We were blessed to be treated with his wit and wisdom on a regular basis while he roomed with dad.
He was a gentleman, knowledgeable, kind, considerate, reglious, but most of all a friend to all who had the opportunity to truly get to know him. Rest in peace " Roy ", we shall truly miss you.

Dear Gary,Sylvia,Ardythe,Kevin,Wayne,Dawn, and Aunt Minnie. Hope emailed me the news of Uncle Roy. I so remember fondly growing up two houses apart and his times of humour and when he and Dad would get together in our living room-- Uncle Roy with his fiddle, Dad on steel guitar and when I was old enough trying to pick out the chords on piano to join in. Coming back for visits I enjoyed seeing him at the hall and although aging you could still see his humorous gleam in his eyes. May all of your fond memories cherish you through these times and the strength of one another along with the Christian hope and your faith in our compassionate and understanding Creator be an anchor for you. Although I can not be present to hear Charles give the talk I will be thinking of all of you as you give thought to Uncle Roy's life and the Scriptural comfort that will be shared. Loving Thoughts and Prayers-- Janet and Glen Shepard

Kevin, Sharon and Family and Andy and Bev,
Please know that you are in my thoughts as you grieve the loss of a loving father and grandfather. The memories you carry in your heart will help to ease the sorrow that you feel today. The best gift that Roy left behind was his legacy as a Christian and that's he's in Jehovah's memory. I look forward to meeting him in the new world. May Jehovah wrap his arms of loving kindness around you to give you comfort.
