Pamela Jane Waldram
Pamela Jane Waldram – 50, of Kentville, passed away on Sunday, January 20, 2013 at home. Born in Grand Falls, New Brunswick, she was the daughter of the late Charles and Joan (Murdock) Eastman. She was a loving mother, sister, wife and friend. She dedicated her life to her family and brought joy and laughter to the many family gatherings through the years. She was so very proud of her two wonderful daughters and her life’s greatest passion was being their Mom. Pam always had an artistic nature and enjoyed all types of crafts: scrapbooking, card making, quilting, knitting and most recently rug hooking. She was the only one of her siblings to follow in her mother’s steps as a great baker. She could be relied upon to replicate the old "Eastman Family Recipes" and come very close to perfection. All will remember her other passion – chocolate! She was kind and helpful to everyone she met and was always happy to lend a hand when one was needed. She could make the lowliest task tolerable with her laughter and wit. She volunteered countless hours at the Tallahassee School in Eastern Passage. She recently completed the Medical Office Administration program at NSCC Kingstec Campus and was happily employed by Cornwallis Veterinarian’s Ltd. She is survived by two daughters, Mary Beth Waldram, Halifax and Erin Waldram, at home; their father, Garry Waldram, North Bay, Ontario; two sisters, Cathie Eastman, Kentville and Cindy Eastman, Dartmouth; a brother, Ken (Janice) Eastman and nephew Ben, Kentville. Cremation has taken place. A memorial gathering in celebration of Pam’s life will be held from 4 - 7 p.m. Friday, January 25, 2013 at the family home, 57 Crescent Avenue, Kentville. A private family burial will take place at a later date. Donations in her memory may be made at the IWK Health Centre, the Kings County SPCA or the Heart and Stroke Foundation. Arrangements have been entrusted to the White Family Funeral Home and Cremation Services, Kentville.
