Shirley B. Chute

Shirley B. Chute - 89, of Berwick, passed away Thursday, May 23, 2013 in the Valley Regional Hospital, Kentville.  Born in Waterville, Kings County, she was a daughter of the late C. Earle and Ida Mae (Pineo) (Whitman) Chute. She had been employed as a teacher and retired from Acadia University. She is survived by a brother, Robert (Myrna) Chute, Berwick; several nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by a sister, Margaret Durno; a brother, Allison. Cremation has taken place under the direction of the White Family Funeral Home and Cremation Services, Kentville. There will be no visitation or funeral service, by request. Donations in memory may be made to the charity of your choice. Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to the White Family Funeral Home and Cremation Services, Kentville.
