Wayne St. Clair Morgan

Wayne St. Clair Morgan - 79, of Berwick, passed away Monday, September 30, 2013 in the Valley Regional Hospital, Kentville. Born in Bear River, he was a son of the late Cecil and Edith (Trimper) Morgan. He served in the Canadian Armed Forces for 21 years as an Aero Engine Technician and worked as a crewman on the Search and Rescue helicopters. He had been active with 4-H, was an avid hunter and trapper, enjoyed woodworking and was an amateur radio enthusiast. He is survived by his wife, Edna (Isles); two sons, David (Wendy), Ottawa and Glen (Jennifer), Halifax; four sisters, Edna Peck, Greenland; Judy (Dan) McRae, London, Ontario; Linda (John) Conway and Barb Demand, both of Cornwallis; two brothers, Dick (Barb), Bear River and Phillip, Digby; two grandchildren, Kaitlyn and Andrew; nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by two brothers, Larry and Ted. Cremation has taken place. There will be no visitation, by request. A private funeral service for family and friends will be held at 10:30 a.m. Friday, October 4, 2013 in the White Family Funeral Home, Kentville, Reverend Earl Waterman officiating. A reception will follow in the family home. Donations in memory may be made to the Annapolis Valley Victorian Order of Nurses or the Valley Regional Hospital. Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to the White Family Funeral Home and Cremation Services, Kentville.
