Brian William Mailman

Brian William Mailman - 59, of Middleton, formerly of Kentville, passed away Monday, March 24, 2014 in the Valley Regional Hospital, Kentville. Born in Windsor, he was a son of the late Merville and Margaret (Amirault) Mailman. He served with the Canadian Armed Forces Reserves. He had been employed as Automotive Services Technician and tended bar at the Royal Canadian Legion, Kings Branch No. 6, Kentville. He is survived by a daughter, Trudi (Jay) Petawawa, Ontario; a son, James "Jimmy" (Julie), Three Mile Plains; three grandchildren, Wesley, Wyatt and Juliet; two sisters, Brenda Salsman and Linda (Richard) Cleveland, both of Kentville; two brothers, Donald, New Brunswick and Doug (Donna), Kentville; an aunt, Mickie Reade, South Alton; nephew, Don (Debbie) Mailman, Kentville; many other nieces, nephews and cousins. Cremation has taken place. There will be no visitation, by request. The funeral service will be held at 1:00 p.m. Tuesday, April 22, 2014 in the White Family Funeral Home, Kentville, Reverend Doctor Randy Crozsman officiating. Burial will take place in the Elm Grove Cemetery, Steam Mill. Donations in memory may be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation of Nova Scotia or Crosbie House Society. The family would like to thank Doctors Christopher King and Michael Sinclair and all the nurses and staff on Medical A at the Valley Regional Hospital for their continuous care and kindness.
