Herbert Harris Arnburg

Herbert Harris Arnburg - 64, formerly of New Minas, passed away Tuesday, April 1, 2014 in Mountain Lea Lodge, Bridgetown. Born in Greenwich, Kings County, he was a son of the late Harris and Edith (MacDonald) Arnburg. He had been employed with Cornwallis Dairy (later Baxter's) for 25 years. He also worked for the Foote Family Farm until retiring due to ill health. He enjoyed Bingo and playing cards, especially crib. He is survived by a daughter, Jacqueline Arnburg (Brian DeAdder), Kentville; a son, Christopher (Annette), Wolfville; two grandchildren, Jadin and Nataya; sister, Elizabeth Arnburg (Albert Benjamin). He was predeceased by his wife, Linda Lou (Rogers); a brother, Robert. Cremation has taken place. There will be no visitation, by request. A graveside service will be held at 10:00 a.m. Monday, July 14, 2014 in the Greenfield Cemetery, Kings County, Reverend Gary Manthorne officiating. Donations in memory may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society or the Canadian Diabetes Association. Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to the White Family Funeral Home and Cremation Services, Kentville.
