Harriett Ernestine Corbett

Harriett Ernestine Corbett - 76, of New Minas, passed away on Friday, July 18, 2014 at home. Born in Ontario, she was a daughter of the late James Henry and Florence (Gumbert) Strome. She is survived by daughters, Ruby (Walter Miller) Roca, Hamilton, Ontario; Suzanne (Garfield) Francis, New Minas; Donna Winters, Northville; three grandchildren and two great grandchildren; a sister, Josephine Turnball, Alberta. She was predeceased by her husband, Gordon Wilbert Corbett; son, Frank Plumtree; brother, Jack. Visitation will be held from 4 until 6 p.m. followed by cremation, Thursday, July 24, 2014 in the White Family Funeral Home, Kentville where a funeral service will be held at 10:00 a.m. Saturday, July 26, 2014,  Reverend Gary Manthorne officiating. Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to the White Family Funeral Home and Cremation Services, Kentville.
