Antoon John "Tony" Ansems

Antoon John "Tony" Ansems - 64, of Steam Mill, passed away on Tuesday, July 22, 2014 in the Valley Regional Hospital, Kentville. Born in the Netherlands, he was a son of the late Christian Antonius and Johanna Petronella Ansems. He spent most of his life farming, then later long haul trucking. He is survived by a son, Mark (Sheri), Dartmouth; a daughter, Nicki (Scott Murphy), Cambridge; grandchildren, Evan, Drew, Chelsea, Aaron and Alexander; brothers, Harry, Gerard, Frank, Casey; sisters, Lucy, Jacoba, Jeanne, Cornelia. He was predeceased by brothers, Ted, John and Cornelius. Cremation has taken place. There will be no visitation or funeral service by request. A private family graveside service will be held at a later date in the Holy Cross Cemetery, Kentville. Donations in memory may be made to a charity of your choice.
