Gerald Leslie Benjamin

Gerald Leslie Benjamin - 76, of Kentville, passed away Thursday, July 24, 2014 in the Valley Regional Hospital, Kentville. Born in Wolfville, he was a son of the late Donald and Annie (Gammon) Benjamin. He was a retired mechanic having worked with Canadian Tire. He was a member of the Black Watch Association and the Royal Canadian Legion, Kings Branch No. 6. He is survived by his wife, the former Lillian Marie Johnstone; daughter, Susan (Mike) Burgess; son Aron (Nancy); grandchildren, Brandi, Dustin, Sarah, Evan and Stacy; two brothers, Donald (Jean), and Glenn, both of Ontario. He was predeceased by sisters, Jean, Isabelle and Phyllis. There will be no visitation by request. The funeral service will be held at 2:00 p.m. Monday, July 28, 2014, in the White Family Funeral Home, Kentville, Reverend Thelma McLeod officiating. Burial will take place in the Lakeview Cemetery, Lakeville. Family flowers only. Donations in memory may be made to the Canadian Diabetes Association, the Bethany Memorial Baptist Church or to the charity of your choice.
