Roxie Mae Schofield

Roxie Mae Schofield - 98 of New Minas, passed away on Friday, August 8, 2014 in Evergreen Home for Special Care, Kentville. Born in Coldbrook, she was the daughter of the late William Charles and Lahlia (Zwicker) Keddy. She is survived by her children, Bill Schofield, Ontario; Laura Taylor, Kingsport; Evelyn Bruce, Kentville; Gwen (Robert) Merriam, Kingston; brother, George (Edna) Keddy, Ontario; 12 grandchildren, 10 great grandchildren, 10 great great grandchildren, two step grandchildren, three step great great grandchildren, several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her husband, Elroy "Edward" Schofield; a daughter, Roxie Joanne; 12 brothers and sisters. Cremation has taken place and there will be no visitation by request. A private family graveside service will be held at a later date in the Garden of Rest Cemetery - The Parrish of St. James, Kentville. Family flowers only, by request. Donations in memory may be made to the Evergreen Home for Special Care or a charity of choice. Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to the White Family Funeral Home and Cremation Services, Kentville.
