Blair Alexander Ross

Blair Alexander Ross - 76, of Kentville, passed away Monday, September 1, 2014 in Soldiers Memorial Hospital, Middleton. Born in Etobicoke, Ontario, he was a son of the late Wilbert and Rachel (Blair) Ross. He taught English at Acadia University from 1971 until 2001. He was an avid tennis player and enjoyed reading. Together with his wife, he enjoyed travelling throughout Canada, the United States and to the United Kingdom. He is survived by his wife, the former Debbie Lynk; a daughter, Stacy Woolf, Calgary; two sons, Christopher, Halifax and David, Aylesford; three grandchildren, Nicholas, Ashley and Ethan; a great grandchild, Christian. Cremation has taken place. There will be no visitation, by request. The funeral service, followed by a reception, will be held at 10:00 a.m. Thursday, September 4, 2014 in St. James Anglican Church, Kentville, Reverend Cathy Pharo officiating. Burial will take place in the Garden of Rest Cemetery, Parish of St. James, Kentville. Donations in memory may be made to the Alzheimer Society or the charity of your choice. Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to the White Family Funeral Home and Cremation Services, Kentville.
