Arthur William "Jim" "Jimmy" Howard

Arthur William "Jim" "Jimmy" Howard - 71, of Canning, Kings County, passed away Friday, September 5, 2014 in the Valley Regional Hospital, Kentville.  Born in Kentville, he was a son of the late James and Eileen (Goucher) Howard. He had been employed as a truck driver with Harold Legge, from where he retired. He is survived by a brother, Ted; a sister, Carolyn Ferron, Berwick. In addition to his parents, He was predeceased by a brother, Thomas. Cremation has taken place. Visitation will be held from 12:30 until the time of the funeral service at 2:00 p.m. on Thursday, September 11, 2014 in the White Family Funeral Home, Kentville, Reverend Virginia DeAdder officiating. Burial will take place in the Elm Grove Cemetery, Steam Mill. Donations in memory may be made to a charity of your choice. Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to the White Family Funeral Home and Cremation Services, Kentville.
