Raymond Charles Crandall

Raymond Charles Crandall - 86, of New Minas, passed away Thursday, October 9, 2014 in the Valley Regional Hospital, Kentville. Born in Mountain Front, Kings County, he was a son of the late Levi and Annie May (Keizer) Crandall. He had been employed for 27 years with Hostess Foods, from where he retired. He loved fishing and spending time at Hall's Harbour. He is survived by his wife, the former Lois Hutt; two sisters, Hazel Melanson, Woodville; Muriel Young, Waterville; a brother, Earl (Jean), New Minas; many nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews. He was predeceased by two sisters, Joyce Pick and Patricia Roy; two brothers, Howard and Willis. Cremation has taken place. Visitation will be held from 12 noon until the time of the funeral service at 1:00 p.m. Tuesday, October 14, 2014 in the White Family Funeral Home, Kentville, Reverend Wayne Merrill officiating. Burial will take place at a later date in the Elm Grove Cemetery, Steam Mill. Donations in memory may be made to the Valley Regional Hospital Foundation. Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to the White Family Funeral Home and Cremation Services, Kentville.
