Lavine "Janet" Justus

Lavine "Janet" Justus - 71, of Kentville, passed away Wednesday, November 12, 2014 at home. Born in Canning, she was a daughter of Evelyn (Latter) Davison, New Minas and the late Clarence "Vernon" Davison.  She was passionate about her family and leaves a legacy of kindness and caring within her family. She enjoyed knitting, especially dolls and baby outfits that were enjoyed by many members of her family. She is survived by her husband, Harold; three daughters, Joan (Sven) Leppik, Winnipeg; Laura Patenaude (Marvin Stone), Halifax; Janice (Kevin) Roach, Brandon, Manitoba; a son, Gary (Cynthia Urquhart), Ottawa; three sisters, Betty Spencer, Judy Russell and Cindy Davison; two brothers, Wayne and Harold Davison; 14 grandchildren; 11 great grandchildren; nieces and nephews. Cremation has taken place. There will be no visitation, by request. A memorial service will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers, donations in memory may be made to the Lung Association. Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to the White Family Funeral Home and Cremation Services, Kentville.
