Garry Edward Usher

Garry Edward Usher - 62, of Cambridge, Kings County, passed away Sunday, November 30, 2014 in the Valley Regional Hospital, Kentville. Born in Berwick, Kings County, he was a son of Dorothy "Doris" Usher, Cambridge and the late Ira Usher. He had been employed with Eastern Bakeries in Berwick for 25 years and later obtained his Class 1 Drivers License. He drove for Eassons Transport for a short time and later worked with JAG Truss. He was a member of the Kentville Lions Club and loved spending time with family and friends. In addition to his mother, he is survived by one son, Tony (Debbie) Usher, Kentville;  three daughters, Christy (Dan) Bishop, Berwick; Julie Usher (Jessie Haayer), Berwick; Sara Usher (Kris Barkhouse), Steam Mill; their mother, Anne Marie Levy, Kingston; three brothers, Murray (Sharon) Connors, Lakeville; Darren (Teresa) Usher, Cambridge; Darrel Usher (Debra Matheson), Canning; seven grandchildren, Aryn, Bryar, Phoenix, Wyatt, Owen, Jake and Lexi; nieces and nephews. Cremation has taken place. Visitation will be held from 6-8 p.m. Wednesday, December 3, 2014 in the White Family Funeral Home, Kentville. A private family graveside service will be held in the Cambridge Cemetery. A celebration of Garry's life will be held from 1-4 p.m. Saturday, December 6, 2014 in the Kentville Lions Hall. Donations in memory may be made to a charity of your choice. Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to the White Family Funeral Home and Cremation Services, Kentville.
