Alberta Grace Woodworth

Alberta Grace Woodworth - 93, formerly of Port Williams, Kings County, passed away Saturday, December 20, 2014 in Shannex - Orchard Court, Kentville.  Born in Scott's Bay, Kings County, she was a daughter of the late Benjamin and Annetta (Sanford) Tupper. She dedicated her life to family and worked on the farm. She was a member of St. John's Anglican Church, Church Street, Port Williams, where she was active with the Church Guild. She was also a member of T.O.P.S., the Port Williams Lioness Club and the Port Williams Seniors. She is survived by two daughters, Shirley (Calvin) Rogers, Canning; Patricia (David) Seaboyer, Port Williams; two sons, David (Joan), Port Williams; Thomas, Port Williams; a sister, Patricia Hiltz, Ottawa; nine grandchildren, Beverly, Cathy, Cheryl, Michelle, Kim, Tanya, Jill, Jamie and Jerry; 15 great grandchildren. She was predeceased by her husband, Gerald; a daughter, Carol; a granddaughter, Debra Lynn; a great grandson, Andy; three sisters, Emma, Eileen and Ethel; five brothers, Robert, Murray, Ralph, Curtis and Lester. Visitation will be held from 6-8 Saturday, December 27, 2014 in the White Family Funeral Home, Kentville, where the funeral service, followed by a reception, will be held at 2:00 p.m. Sunday, December 28, 2014. Burial will take place in the Jaw Bone Corner Cemetery, Canard, Kings County. Donations in memory may be made to St. John's Anglican Church or the Canadian Cancer Society. Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to the White Family Funeral Home and Cremation Services, Kentville.
