Wendell Lee Pineo

Wendell Lee Pineo - 75, of Kentville, passed away peacefully on Monday, December 29, 2014 in the Valley Regional Hospital, Kentville. Born in Lower Canard, he was a son of the late Lloyd H. and Laura M. (Kelley) Pineo. He is survived by his wife, Louise M. (Best) Pineo; two sons, Glen (Tanya), Arizona and Darren (Carie), Kentville; five grandchildren, Brandon, Sydney, Alexander, Rebecca and Benjamin; a sister, Marion Kelly, Bridgewater; a brother, Lawrence (Leora), North Bay, Ontario; several nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews. In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by a sister, Gertrude Spencer and a brother, Ken. Cremation has taken place. There will be no visitation, by request. The funeral service will be held at 2:00 p.m. Monday, January 5, 2015 in the White Family Funeral Home, Kentville. Burial will take place at a later date in the Lower Horton Cemetery, Grand Pré. Donations in memory may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society, the Heart and Stroke Foundation of Nova Scotia or the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation. Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to the White Family Funeral Home and Cremation Services, Kentville.
