Gerald Eugene Sanford

Gerald Eugene Sanford - 70, of New Minas, passed away Saturday, December 20, 2014 in the Valley Regional Hospital, Kentville. Born in Kentville, he was a son of Flora (Brown) Sanford, Cambridge, Kings County and the late Earle Sanford. He had been employed as a truck driver, having worked for Jodrey and Pulsifer, Pole Star and retired from Armour Transport. He was a member of the 2 Million Mile Club. In addition to his mother, he is survived by a brother, Bruce and his family, Rocky Mountain House, Alberta. In addition to his father, he was predeceased by his good friend and love of his life, Dora Walker. Cremation has taken place. There will be no visitation or funeral service, by request. A private graveside service will be held at 11:30 a.m., Saturday, January 10, 2015 in the Elm Grove Cemetery, Steam Mill. Donations in memory may be made to the charity of your choice. Arrangements have been entrusted to the White Family Funeral Home and Cremation Services, Kentville.
