Sue Carol Wentzell

Sue Carol Wentzell - It is with great sadness that we announce the sudden passing of Sue at age 65 on January 7, 2015 at Valley Regional Hospital, Kentville. Born in Lunenburg, she was the daughter of the late Bradley and Rosa (Tanner) Miller. She was a Registered Nurse graduating in 1970 from the IWK Children's Hospital, and practiced in various units at the Valley Regional Hospital for the past 35 years. Always putting others first, Sue was a loving wife, mother and grandmother whose love of family was all enduring. She and her family lived in Kentville and moved to Centreville four years ago. She enjoyed the cottage life at Sherbrooke Lake including kayaking, swimming and snowmobiling. She enjoyed music, singing and was a past member of St. James Anglican Church choir, Valley Voices and most recently the Shiretown Singers. She is survived by her husband of 44 years, James; daughters, Christine (Alex Angermann) and grandchildren, Zackary and Madison, Kentville; Rebecca (Shane Reagh) and grandson, Cole, Falmouth, Maine; sister, Carol (David Parsons), Dartmouth and nephews, Barry and Greg Parsons; sister-in-law, Dorothy McEvoy and niece, Elizabeth Henderson. In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by an infant grandson, Dylan Reagh. Cremation has taken place. Visitation will be held from 6-8 p.m. Sunday, January 11, 2015 in the White Family Funeral Home, Kentville, where the funeral service, followed by a reception, will be held at 1:00 p.m., Monday, January 12, 2015. Interment will take place at a later date. Donations in memory may be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation, St. James Anglican Church, Kentville or a charity of choice. Family flowers only. Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to the White Family Funeral Home and Cremation Services, Kentville.
