Frank Arthurton Webster

Frank Arthurton Webster - 60, of Kentville, Kings County, passed away Monday, January 12, 2015, after a lengthy illness. Born in Kentville, he was a son of the late Robie Webster and Vera (Schofield) Webster. Frank was a machinist by trade and worked many years for Michelin Tire in Waterville. Subsequent to that he continued to work in his trade, mainly in Alberta. Throughout his life, Frank loved spending time with family, music and the outdoors. He was an avid hunter and enjoyed fishing with his buddies. His love for travel took him to many campsites across Canada. There were always many stories to be told, which he enjoyed telling over and over. He made many friends wherever he went. Despite his failing health and disabilities, Frank continued to always live life to the fullest and he will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved him. Frank is survived by his wife, Lorna; two daughters, Michelle Webster (Kevin Murray), Centreville; Jennifer MacFarlane (Craig), Banff; three grandchildren, Reghan Murray, Hazen Murray and Noah MacFarlane; sisters, Marilyn Durling (John); Janet Steele (John) and Gail Wittenberg (Rick); as well as many nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his parents and brother, Paul. The family is deeply indebted to the staff at Valley Regional Hospital, Western Kings Memorial Health Center - Dialysis Unit, VON and Kings Point to Point. To the doctors, nurses, CTA's, physio/OT staff, environmental service workers, food service workers and porters. Frank considered all to be his extended family and enjoyed any opportunity to share a good joke. Cremation has taken place. Visitation will be held from 6-8 p.m. Thursday, January 15, 2015 in the White Family Funeral Home, Kentville. A private family service will be held at a later date. Donations in Frank's memory may be made to the VON, VRH Dialysis Foundation, or the charity of your choice. Arrangements have been entrusted to the White Family Funeral Home and Cremation Services, Kentville.
