Marion Kathleen Keddy

Marion Kathleen Keddy - 82, of Port Williams, Kings County, passed away Wednesday, January 14, 2015 in Shannex-Blomidon Court, Greenwich. Born in Baxters Harbour, Kings County, she was a daughter of the late Ernest and Myrtle (Brewster) Avery. She was a dedicated homemaker and enjoyed reading, sewing, cooking and baking. In recent years she moved to Blomidon Court where she blossomed and was an inspiration to other residents. She will be sadly missed by all who knew and loved her. She is survived by two daughters, Glenda (Eric) Clark, Port Williams and their daughter, Maggie, Riverview; Gayle, New Minas; a son, Bev (Patricia), Halifax; two brothers, Hartley (Reva) Avery Sr. and Bernard (Jennie) Avery, all of New Brunswick; nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her husband, Cecil; a son, Ernest Cecil; a brother Bev Avery. Visitation will be held from 6-8 p.m. Saturday, January 24, 2015 in the White Family Funeral Home, Kentville, where the funeral service, followed by a reception, will be held at 2:00 p.m. Sunday, January 25, 2015, Reverend Elizabeth Johnson officiating. A private family burial will take place in the Elm Grove Cemetery, Steam Mill, Kings County. Family flowers only, by request. Donations in memory may be made to the Social Fund - Blomidon Court or Camp Brigadoon. Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to the White Family Funeral Home and Cremation Services, Kentville.
