Carol Ann Coldwell

Carol Ann Coldwell - 70, of Grand Pré, Kings County, passed away peacefully at home, surrounded by family, Sunday February 1, 2015. Born in Weymouth, she was a daughter of the late Percy and Millie (Saulnier) Cook. She was a loving and devoted mother, wife and grandmother who always put her family first. She had a love for music and playing the guitar, along with her daughters and would often be seen at variety concerts. A devoted Christian, she was a member of the Wolfville Ridge Baptist Church and the church choir. She is survived by her husband, Manford "Manny"; four daughters, Tammy Harbers, Hantsport; Pam Smith, Avonport; Alison Fuller (Peter Reid), New Minas and Debbie (Tony) Usher, Kentville; a son, Greg Coldwell (Wendy Spidle), Gaspereau; sisters, Adelaide Thibault, Weymouth; Violet (Gerald) Balsor, Centreville and Beverly (Paul) Langille, New Minas; brother, Laddie (Sandra) Cook, Lakeville; grandchildren, Carrie (Justin), Sackville; Matthew (Jenn), Sackville; Rachel, White Rock; Nathan, Avonport; Justin (Lori), Melanson; Nina, Avonport;  Colin (Laura), Gaspereau; Stephanie, Avonport; Jennika, New Minas; Aryn, Kentville; Selena, Hantsport; four great grandchildren. She was predeceased by brother, Percy Jr. Visitation will be held from 6-8 p.m. Wednesday, February 4, 2015 in the White Family Funeral Home, Kentville, where the funeral service, followed by a reception, will be held at 3:00 p.m. Thursday, February 5, 2015, Reverend Robert Burbidge and Reverend Gary Manthorne officiating. Burial will take place at a later date in the Gaspereau Cemetery. Family flowers only, by request. Donations in memory may be made to the Wolfville Ridge Baptist Church or the Canadian Cancer Society. Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to the White Family Funeral Home and Cremation Services, Kentville.
