David M. Laing

David Michael Laing - 55, of Canning, passed away on Wednesday, February 25, 2015 at home. Born on June 9, 1959, he was a son of Albert Laing, Shoreham Village, Chester, formerly of Milton, Queens County and the late Shirley (Martin) Laing. He is survived by his partner, Diane Russell, Canning; a son, Michael Laing, Dartmouth; brothers, George (Loni), Charleston; Robert (Jolie), Sackville; sister, Lori (Peter) Jones, Sackville; nieces, Tiffany, Meghan, Brandy; nephew, Steven. David was an avid sports fan and loved the Toronto Maple Leafs till the end. Thank you to all that have helped and supported us over the last few months. Cremation has taken place. There will be no visitation or funeral, by his request. A farewell gathering will be held from 2-4 p.m. Sunday, March 15, 2015 in the Royal Canadian Legion, Branch No. 73, Canning. Donations in memory may be made to the Royal Canadian Legion, Branch No. 73 or to a charity of your choice.
