Joyce Helen Smith

Joyce Helen Smith - 88, formerly of New Minas, passed away Wednesday, March 18, 2015 in the Wolfville Nursing Home. Born in Pereaux, she was a daughter of the late Sheldon and Marjorie (Strong) Levy. A gentle lady who always, with love, put others first and then shared in their happiness. She is survived by two daughters, Marlene, New Minas; Marjorie (Ernest) Waye, Sackville; two grandchildren; four great grandchildren; one great great granddaughter. She was predeceased by two brothers, Victor and Vincent; step-mother, Mildred Levy. Cremation has taken place. There will be no visitation, by request. A graveside service will be held at 10:00 a.m. Saturday, June 20, 2015 in the Greenfield Cemetery, Kings County. Donations in memory may be made to the Valley Regional Hospital Foundation. Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to the White Family Funeral Home and Cremation Services, Kentville.
