Phyllis Elaine Hartling

Phyllis Elaine Hartling - 76, of Port Williams, Kings County, passed away Thursday, March 19, 2015. Born in Port Williams, she was a daughter of the late Frederick and Roberta Harriette (Brechin) Morine. She worked as a hairdresser, initially with Patterson's in Kentville then from her own home for many years. She was a member of the Maple Leaf Riding Club and had a great love for animals. She will be missed by her four beloved cats. She is survived by a daughter, Debbie (Ralph) Eaton, Canard, Kings County; a sister, Kathleen (Donald) Stocker, Port LaTour; a brother, Eric, Berwick; many nieces, nephews and cousins. She was predeceased by her husband, Alfred William James Hartling; a sister, Muriel; a brother-in-law, Ivan; a sister-in-law, Dorothea. Cremation has taken place. There will be no visitation, by request. A graveside service will be held at a later date in the Jaw Bone Corner Cemetery, Canard. Donations in memory may be made to the Kings County S.P.C.A. or the charity of your choice. Arrangements have been entrusted to the White Family Funeral Home and Cremation Services, Kentville.
