Venetta G. Frampton

Venetta G. Frampton - 83, of Kentville, passed away at home on Thursday, March 26, 2015. She was the daughter of the late Leonard and Gertrude (Huntley) Barkhouse, and is survived by daughters Rhonda (Jim) Musgrave, Halifax; Linda McAloney, Greenwood; and Monica (Allan) Graves, New Minas; grandchildren Jeremy (Lyndsay), Udel, Ryan, William, Matthew, Morgan, Caleigh, and Jacoby; sister Muriel Piche, British Columbia; and many nieces and nephews. Mom was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, sister and aunt, and enjoyed most of all the company of her family. We will remember her warm laughter and wonderful sense of humour. Venetta was predeceased by her husband and soulmate, Ronald Frampton; daughter Deborah Frampton; sisters, Norma Barkhouse, Glayda Brown, Greta McIntyre, Jean Salyzyn and Olga Weare; and brothers Elden Barkhouse and Delbert Carey. Venetta worked as a sales clerk in a number of Kentville businesses over the years, concluding with Chase’s Ladies Wear. She will be missed as well by the other regulars at the Tim Horton’s in New Minas.  Cremation has taken place. Visitation will be held from 6-8 p.m. Tuesday, March 31, 2015 in the White Family Funeral Home, Kentville, where the service and reception to celebrate Nanny’s life will be held at 2:00 p.m. Thursday, April 2, 2015, Reverend Gordon Sutherland officiating. A private family burial will take place at a later date in the Elm Grove Cemetery, Steam Mill. Family flowers only, by request. Donations in memory of Venetta may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society. Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to the White Family Funeral Home and Cremation Services, Kentville.
