Brian Michael West

Brian Michael West - 57, of Kentville, passed away Sunday, April 5, 2015 in the Valley Regional Hospital, Kentville. Born in Kentville, he was a son of Doris (Keddy) West, Kentville and the late William Fenwick West. He began his career as a mechanic working with his father at Harold Legge's Transport, Port Williams and most recently worked with Merks Farms Ltd., Avonport. He loved spending time with his father and brother, Mac and enjoyed their fellowship while hunting, fishing and staying at the cottage. In addition to his mother, he is survived by two daughters, Allie (Ian Parker), Grafton and their expected daughter; Kate (Bill) Grimshire, Gaspereau; their mother, Susan MacDuff, Centreville; a sister, Elizabeth West (Bill Rhynard), Kentville; two brothers, Fenwick, Springhill; Mac (Debbie), Upper Dyke. In addition to his father, he was predeceased by two sisters, Carol Ann Connolly and Jean Danells. Visitation will be held from 6-8 p.m. Tuesday, April 7, 2015 in the White Family Funeral Home, Kentville, where the funeral service, followed by a reception, will be held at 1:00 p.m. Wednesday, April 8, 2015, Pastor Christina Bigelow officiating. Burial will take place at a later date in the Lakeview Cemetery, Lakeville. Donations in memory may be made to the charity of your choice. Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to the White Family Funeral Home and Cremation Services, Kentville.
