George "David" Clarke

George "David" Clarke - 73, of Kentville, passed away Saturday, April 11, 2015 in the Valley Regional Hospital, Kentville. Born in Kentville, he was a son of the late George and Dorothy (Porter) Clarke. He served with the West Nova Scotia Regiment and was a member of the Royal Canadian Legion, Kings Branch No. 6, Kentville for over 25 years. He enjoyed playing darts and fishing. He is survived by his wife, the former Pauline Adams; two sons, Rickey, Halifax; Christopher, New Minas; two sisters, Barbara (Patrick) Harkin, Edmonton, Alberta; Marie Jones, British Columbia; four grandchildren, Matthew, Edmonton; Angela, Ontario; Drew and Reese, both of New Minas; two nephews, Danny and Christopher Harkin, both of Edmonton. Visitation will be held from 6-8 p.m. Monday, April 13, 2015 in the White Family Funeral Home, Kentville, where the funeral service will be held at 1:00 p.m. Tuesday, April 14, 2015, Father Craig Cameron officiating. Burial will take place in the Elm Grove Cemetery, Steam Mill. Donations in memory may be made to the Kings County S.P.C.A. or the charity of your choice. Arrangements have been entrusted to the White Family Funeral Home and Cremation Services, Kentville.
