Gloria Jean (Digdon) French - 66, of South Alton, Kings County, passed away Tuesday, April 14, 2015. Born in Antigonish, she was the daughter of the late Roy and Ruth Digdon, Mulgrave. She was a longtime member of IATSE 849. She is survived by her husband, Rodger French, South Alton; daughters, Ardyth (Eric) Geldart, Truro; Shelley (Shawn) Moralli, California; six grandchildren, Tanner, Skylar, Shealee, Jonathan, Heather and Tonja; two stepchildren, Alex and Amber; four sisters, Lorraine, Nancy, Barbara and Sharon. She will also be missed by her faithful four legged companion, Cooper. She was predeceased by a sister, Carol Ann. Gloria loved life and lived life to the fullest. Her many friends will miss her greatly. Whenever you hear a rumble in the sky, it will probably be Gloria riding her Harley Davidson in Heaven. Cremation has taken place. There will be no visitation, by request. A celebration of Gloria's life will be held from 2-5 p.m., Saturday, April 25, 2015 at Dooley's on Kempt Road, Halifax. No flowers, by request. Donations in memory may be made to the Lung Association of Nova Scotia. Arrangements have been entrusted to the White Family Funeral Home and Cremation Services, Kentville.
