Ralph Everett Roche

Ralph Everett  Roche - 84, of Kentville, passed away April 22, 2015 in Soldier's Memorial Hospital, Middleton. Born in Kentville he was a son of the late Raymond and Edna (Barrett) Roche. He had a 28 year career with the Armed Forces, was a veteran of the Korean War and served with the Royal Canadian Regiment, 3rd Battalion. He had been employed as a cook with Landmark East School, Wolfville, until retirement in 1990. He is survived by two daughters, Marie (Paul) Rawding, Wilmot, Annapolis County; Christine (Curtis) Foster, Kentville; two sons, Raymond (Darlene), Kingston; Paul (Fern), New Minas; seven grandchildren; six great grandchildren; and long time companion, Virginia Bennett. He was predeceased by a sister, Jean England; an infant brother. A visitation will be held 6-8 p.m. Friday, April 24, 2015 in the White Family Funeral Home, Kentville, where a Royal Canadian Legion Service, followed by a funeral service, will be held at  2:00 pm, Saturday, April 25, 2015. A reception will follow, Reverend Cathy Pharo officiating. Burial will take place in the Lakeview Cemetery, Lakeville at a later date. Donations may be made to the Valley Regional Hospital Foundation. The family would like to thank the nurses and doctors at Soldier’s Memorial Hospital, Veteran's Unit for their kindness, care and compassion. Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to the White Family Funeral Home and Cremation Services, Kentville.
