Reginald James "John" Dill - 85, of Centreville, Kings County, passed away Wednesday, April 22, 2015 at home. Born in Lower Canard, Kings County. He was a son of the late Frank and Effie (Lennihan) Dill. John had been employed with the Nova Scotia Sanitorium, Scotian Gold and Willett Fruit Company. Throughout his life he was involved in farming and always active until his retirement in 2014. He is survived by his wife of 64 years, Mary (Fields) Dill; daughters, Phyllis (Chris) Plant, Coldbrook; Irene Dill, Halifax; Suzeanna (Gary) Balcom, Wolfville; Sally (Blane) Kelly, Coldbrook; Barbara (Daniel) Perry, Summerside, PEI; Pauline Dill, Kentville; Heather Dill, Coldbrook; Nancy (Aron Benjamin) Dill, Kentville; a son, Reginald Hugh Dill, Kentville; brothers, Walter (Josie), Hamilton, ON; Allan (Nancy), Springhill; Ernie, Woodside; Franklin (Peggy), Woodside; Ronald (Karen), Woodside; many grandchildren and great grandchildren; nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by a daughter, Dorothy Della Dill; sisters, Frances McEachern, Elsie Rafuse, Marguerite Curran, Bessie MacDonald; brothers, Cecil, Harvey, Donald, Carl, Charles. Cremation has taken place. There will be no visitation, by request. A memorial service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Monday, April 27, 2015 in the Kingdom Hall, Centreville, Mr. Charles Crandall officiating. A reception will follow in the Centreville Community Center. Donations in memory may be made to the Kingdom Hall, Centreville, Canadian Red Cross or a charity of your choice. Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to the White Family Funeral Home and Cremation Services, Kentville.
