Bonnie Rebecca Wheaton

Bonnie Rebecca Wheaton - 72, of Gaspereau, Kings County, passed away on Tuesday, April 28, 2015 in the Valley Regional Hospital, Kentville. Born in Wolfville, she was a daughter of the late Starr and Hilda (Schofield) Gertridge. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and homemaker. She enjoyed baking and TV Bingo. She is survived by three daughters, Pam, Ronda and Lesa; two sons, Robert and Ronnie; a sister, Fern Eye; two brothers, Garth (Geneva) and David (Marion); 10 grandchildren, six great grandchildren, nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her husband, Larry; a sister, Faye Stirling; four brothers, Wilfred, Blaine, Ross and Murray. Cremation has taken place. Visitation will be held from 1-3 p.m. on Friday, May 1, 2015 in the White Family Funeral Home, Kentville, where the funeral service will be held at 2:00 p.m. Saturday, May 2, 2015, Reverend Gary Manthorne officiating. Burial will take place at a later date in the Gaspereau Cemetery. Donations can be made to the Canadian Cancer Society.
