Donna Marie Dorey

Donna Marie Dorey - 66, of Kentville, passed away Thursday, May 14, 2015 in the Valley Regional hospital, Kentville. Born in Canning, she was a daughter of the late Emmett and Beatrice (Ettinger) Carter. She was a NASCAR enthusiast and enjoyed quilting, sewing and bird watching. She is survived by two daughters, Twanna Carter, Kentville; Tanya Perkins (Kevin Stevens), Bridgewater; a sister, June MacDonald, New Minas; two brothers, Thomas, White Rock; Emmett, Ontario; a grandson, Tyler; nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by a brother, Ellis. Cremation has taken place. There will be no visitation, by request. A graveside service will be held at 2:00 p.m. Wednesday, May 27, 2015 in St. John's Anglican Cemetery, Church Street, Port Williams. Donations in memory may be made to the Valley Hospice Foundation. Arrangements have been entrusted to the White Family Funeral Home and Cremation Services, Kentville.
